  • Experiments in Physical Sciences Classes

    11 Nov 2011

For us at African Legend it is important to offer quality education for severely disadvantaged learners in the Cape Town area. But offering 'free' extra classes is mostly not sufficient to motivate young, discouraged students to attend our extra classes. The practical component is as important as the theoretical one; in other words text books have to be brought to life.

  • Restorative Art Festival

    11 Jul 2011

The annually held Restorative Art Festival was again a great success, offering a very exciting soccer match between Du Noon vs. Capricorn and Dancing Performances with very talended young students. As part of the reading awareness initiative, books were made available at the Art Festival.

  • New Logo for African Legend

    11 Jun 2011

African Legend has a new logo, kindly designed by Anett Breite who lives in Leipzig/Germany. Anett did an excellent job in combining both eduction and sport, which are the important focus areas of our organisation, in one image. We are so grateful for your donation!

  • English Reading and Dictation Test

    10 Apr 2011

With the beginning of each school term, we reserve a two months period to identify learners' difficulties. Language is thereby one of the areas we address.
